Frequently Asked Questions

Kinesiology can help anyone
-
Everyone is different, so the number of sessions varies depending on your individual circumstances and wellbeing goals. Some people notice changes after their first appointment, while others benefit from a series of sessions over time. During your consultation, we'll discuss your progress and recommend an approach that's right for you.
-
Your first appointment lasts approximately 90 minutes, allowing plenty of time for a detailed consultation, assessment and personalised kinesiology session.
Follow-up appointments are approximately 60 minutes.
-
There's no need to bring anything unless you feel it's relevant to your appointment. If you have recent medical information, test results, or a list of any medications or supplements you're currently taking, these can be helpful. Most importantly, just come as you are.
-
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax during your session. You'll remain fully clothed throughout your appointment, although there may be occasions where gentle skin contact is required as part of the assessment or balancing techniques. If possible, please wear socks and avoid restrictive clothing such as tight jeans and definitely not a dress or a skirt.
-
Many people feel great right after their session, but for others, it may take time. You might feel tired, spaced out, or a bit "off" as your body adjusts. This is normal, and healing can take time, especially if you're addressing long-term stress.
-
Yes, this is common! Kinesiology helps shift your body from "fight-or-flight" mode to "rest-and-digest," which can leave you feeling tired as your body relaxes and recovers.
-
It’s unlikely. Supplements are chosen, by your body through muscle testing and are specifically for your needs, but check with your GP for possible medication interactions. Some supplements may cause temporary discomfort as your body adjusts, which is a positive sign.
-
It’s best to use the one identified during your session. The body is specific about what it needs, and different supplements may not work the same way.
-
This could be part of the detox process. Your body might temporarily mimic illness as it clears toxins. These symptoms usually go away within a few days.
-
Skin problems can worsen temporarily during detox. It may take several sessions to clear this up, especially if your gut health or emotional factors are involved.
-
If you feel unwell for more than a few days or you have become unwell between treatments, it’s likely unrelated to the treatment. Other factors like diet, stress, or illness may be at play.
-
It’s best to wait until your next session. Supplements work on different layers, so continuing the same one long-term may not be necessary.
-
Online advice is generic. Kinesiology uses muscle testing to give you tailored advice. Trust the recommendations you’ve been given.
-
Supplements work slowly, it takes 21 days on a cellular level to get into your system. It’s common not to see immediate results.
